Oh sure, they try to make everyone outside of the locker room believe they're concentrating on one game at a time and not listening to what anyone else has to say.
Case in point: The seat for New York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur continues to get hotter with each passing week. But as he told reporters, "My concern is putting a team on the field that's going to win a football game. ... It's a one week concern."
