Pinstripe Alley Podcast Ep. 131: More L’s and Spider Tack

Another weekend has come and gone, and it brought more Yankee disappointment that sadly did not vanish when we hit midnight on Monday. The glum vibes are still ever-present, as the Yankees saw a standard sweep in Minnesota snatched away from them by a terrible Aroldis Chapman, and then promptly got swept out of town themselves in a two-game weekend set against old friend Joe Girardi and his Phillies.

It’s bad times, and now the pitching is looking as suspect as it appeared to be before the season even began. The Phillies rocked Jameson Taillon and Domingo Germán, Michael King’s start didn’t go well, and the team can only be so confident in mid-rotation arm Jordan Montgomery.
