The New York Yankees won one over on the Boston Redsox on Friday afternoon, securing what one scout stated as a “super athlete.”
The Redsox have made their approach to winning known – players that can get on base and run the bases very well. In the Triple-A phase of the Rule 5 draft on Thursday, the Bombers were able tos secure outfielder Tyler Hill. They paid cash considerations to add another speedster to the organization, something the Yanks haven’t had an abundance of.

“Has speed, puts the ball in play, and has the ability to draw a walk,’’ noted one scout.
