After an annoying 2-5 roadtrip, the Yankees are back at home tonight, starting a nine-game run in the Bronx. First up is an old NL rival, the Atlanta Braves, who are sort-of second in the NL East at 11-7.
Clint Frazier was called up this morning to fill in for the injured Giancarlo Stanton, and he finds himself in the dugout, though not in the lineup. Mike Ford gets the start at DH tonight. Meanwhile, Ronald Acuña Jr., maybe Atlanta’s best all-around player, was a late scratch from the lineup with a wrist issue.
