The hot stove has been considerably cool since the flurry of the winter meetings. Monday night, we got an interesting tidbit on Nolan Arenado.
, Arenado was quoted as saying, “There’s a lot of disrespect from people there that I don’t want to be a part of. You can quote that.”
It’s clear that Arenado is hurt by the Rockies shopping him this off-season, and he obviously wants out.
I recently mentioned on Georges Box that the Yankees should be all over this. Brian Cashman doesn’t shop for need, he shops for value. The Yankees don’t necessarily have a hole at third base.
