Rangers agree to terms with Lias Andersson, No. 7 overall pick in 2017 NHL Draft

The Rangers agreed to terms with forward Lias Andersson on a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced on Thursday.

Andersson, 18, was selected by the Rangers with the seventh overall pick in June’s NHL draft.

Andersson played 42 games with HV71 of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) this past season, scoring nine goals with 10 assists.
