New York Rangers take on the Penguins in a Metro Division match-up

Coming off a gutting shootout loss to the Florida Panthers, the New York Rangers take on the Pittsburgh Penguins, who also came off a shootout match with Chicago Saturday night, which ended in Pittsburgh’s favor. The Penguins currently sit fourth in the Metro with 21 points while the Rangers are in sixth with 15 points.

With Alexandar Georgiev already confirmed to start in goal for the Rangers, and Matt Murray expected for the Penguins, it will be an interesting match-up between a seasoned and a young team. Last year, Pittsburgh almost completed a season sweep against the Rangers had it not been for an overtime win in the Rangers’ last game of the year.
