Chris Kreider is the second-longest tenured New York Rangers’ forward. Just let that sink in real quick. Kreider will be entering his sixth season on Broadway this year and although he had a career year last year, he still has a lot more to prove.
They don’t make many players like Kreider. His combination of skill, size, and foot speed is extremely rare. It’s a combination that works tremendously in the Rangers’ favor. They play in a system predicated on speed and moving the puck, and not many can use this to their advantage quite like Kreider.
This year, Kreider will be counted on even more than ever to lead this team.
