The New York Mets return to Citi Field Friday night for their final homestand of the season. While doing so, the future of manager Terry Collins is up in the air.

According to Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News, team sources expect that Collins will retire after this season. However, Collins said that he hasn’t decided his future just yet. The Mets haven’t told Collins what their plans are as the only decision that they have made is that Sandy Alderson will be back as GM next year.

“We’ll talk about that after the season,” Alderson told Ackert on Wednesday.
