Wood has taken the ball despite nagging hamstring and adductor issues. His most recent start was his best lately, taking a no-hitter vs. the Giants into the fifth inning.
Although Wheeler still has his hiccups from time to time, he has settled into the season after a rocky beginning. In his last eight starts, Wheeler owns a 4.24 ERA, 48 strikeouts and 17 walks in 46 2/3 innings. He is, however, 0-3 over that stretch.
