The Knicks are giving Kenny Wooten an Exhibit 10 contract to attend training camp

While most of us have been hiding from the heat this weekend, the Knicks’ front office has been working to improve the team’s depth in training camp. To wit, they just signed University of Oregon forward Kenny Wooten to an Exhibit 10 deal to attend camp this fall, per Marc Berman.

The Knicks are already at the full allotment of 15 players, but this deal allows Wooten to collect an additional $50,000 if he spends at least 45 with the club’s G league affiliate after getting cut during training camp. It’s a good way of making sure Wooten ends up in Westchester.
