The New York Knicks returned to the Summer League court on Friday, July 13. Having lost three of their first four games, New York was attempting to complete its stint in Las Vegas on a high note by securing a victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.
The shorthanded Knicks overcame the absence of two of their most revered players to secure a 102-83 victory over the Pelicans.
New York was without perhaps the two most coveted players on the roster. Summer League standout Kevin Knox and defensive specialist Frank Ntilikina were both absent, as were center Luke Kornet and guard Allonzo Trier.
