For the first time in the 2019-20 NBA season, the New York Knicks will have a rematch, with the Boston Celtics ahead on Friday, Nov. 1. This also continues a two-game road trip, which began on Wednesday, losing to the Orlando Magic by 12 points.
The Knicks fell to 1-4 in Orlando. Obviously, this is not an ideal start to their season, as double-digit point deficits have plagued them for the year’s first week. They have overcome each of them, including to defeat the Chicago Bulls at home; too often, though, it becomes an insurmountable hurdle for coach David Fizdale’s team to handle.
