Watching the NBA Playoffs from home can’t exactly be spun as a positive, and I won’t try to do so. There is an opportunity to evaluate high-level talent that could be of value to the New York Knicks in future seasons, however, and that shouldn’t be overlooked.
While the stars who are soon to hit free agency will be priced out of the Knicks’ range and capabilities, there are certainly players worth considering.
New York has a core in place with point guard Frank Ntilikina, shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr., and power forward Kristaps Porzingis.
