New York Knicks: Frank Ntilikina’s lost opportunities are a trend

Frank Ntilikina re-injured groin in Sunday’s New York Knicks game against the Los Angeles Clippers represented what his season has been: a year of lost opportunities, whether in or out of his control.

From losing a starting spot to exiting the rotation via coach’s decision twice, an ankle injury and this groin ailment, the difficult blows have not stopped. That’s without mentioning the frequent trade rumors since Ntilikina was drafted in the Phil Jackson era.

With the loss to Los Angeles, the Knicks have just eight games left, which run through April 10, which is just 16 days away.
