New York Knicks: 5 reasons to love the trade for Doug McDermott

With training camp on the horizon, the New York Knicks have altered the trajectory of the organization in a powerful manner. In response to the incessant rumors and requests, the Knicks have shipped Carmelo Anthony out of New York.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Knicks have sent Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott, and the Chicago Bulls’ 2018 second-round draft pick.

New York has agreed to a deal to send Carmelo Anthony to OKC for Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott and a draft pick, league sources tell ESPN.
