Kristaps Porzingis will lead young, revamped Knicks’ roster

Kristaps Porzingis got stronger and added some much-needed muscle this offseason. It should help him because he will carry more weight and more of the workload for the Knicks.

Carmelo Anthony’s trade to Oklahoma City is expected to become official Monday. The end of the Anthony era means the face of the Knicks will be a 7-3 Latvian forward who will have to prove himself as a franchise player.

Anthony has agreed to waive his no-trade clause to play with Russell Westbrook, Paul George and the Thunder. In return, the Knicks will receive center Enes Kanter, shooter Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round pick.
