The Knicks and their fans only hope it continues when it counts.
In his opening act, Knicks lottery pick Kevin Knox provided hope — and 21.3 points a game — and as a result landed on the first team of the All-NBA Summer League teams.
Behind Knox’s athleticism, the Knicks finished the competition in Las Vegas, which featured affiliates of all 30 teams, with a 2-3 record. Knox, selected with the ninth pick, was impressive in some way every time he hit the floor in the show-‘em-what-you-have games.
Second-year player Josh Hart was named the league’s MVP.
