Enes Kanter reacts to being taken out of Knicks’ rotation

With rookie Mitchell Robinson back from injury, New York Knicks’ center Enes Kanter is no longer a part of head coach David Fizdale’s rotation.

Following Monday’s blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kanter expressed how disappointed he is.

“I was very disappointed. There was nothing to be happy about, so I’m not happy and I definitely don’t agree with the decision, of course,” Kanter said, via Ian Begley of ESPN.com.

Begley wrote that Kanter spoke with Fizdale last week, who told him that his top priority is to develop their younger centers. Of course this means that both Robinson and Luke Kornet are now ahead of Kanter who has now been demoted to third on the depth chart.
