The New York Jets head coach was in no mood to speculate. Following his team’s 28-14 loss to the New England Patriots Sunday afternoon, Adam Gase deflected a plethora of questions pertaining to his future.
Perhaps he was still locked into what just transpired at Gillette Stadium.
Perhaps he already knew his fate.
On Sunday night, the Jets made it official, courtesy of a Christopher Johnson statement.
“This evening, I informed Adam Gase he will no longer serve as the Head Coach of the Jets. During his time here, I had the pleasure to get to know Adam and his wonderful family and wish them nothing but the best moving forward.
