Saquon’s Barkley’s father incredibly will be repping the green, not blue, this Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
Alibay Barkley, a diehard Jets fan with a tattoo of the team’s logo on his left forearm, is planning to wear a Joe Namath jersey when the two local teams square off, Saquon Barkley said after Giants practice Thursday.
“It’s kind of weird because he has a Jets tattoo, so even if he wears a Saquon Barkley jersey he’s still repping the Jets. My dad, if you ever met my dad, you know he’s been a Jets fan his whole life,” Saquon Barkley said.
