NY Jets’ wide receiver Denzel Mims injured his other hamstring in practice.
The NY Jets haven’t been able to catch a break in regard to injury luck this summer. And on Friday, their misfortune continued following the injury update about rookie wide receiver Denzel Mims.
Head coach Adam Gase spoke to reporters following Friday’s practice and had some unfortunate news to share about Mims.
Gase said that Mims, who had dealt with a hamstring injury throughout pretty much all of training camp, injured his other hamstring in practice and likely won’t be playing this Sunday in the season opener against the Buffalo Bills.
