New York Jets legend Joe Namath calls Joe Burrow’s injury ‘heartbreaking’

Joe Namath is no stranger to knee injuries. In fact, the New York Jets‘ most familiar legend saw the prime of his career cut short thanks to injuries suffered while at Alabama.

It’s why he’s the perfect man to comment on the latest big NFL injury.

Cincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow left his team’s game against the Washington Football Team this past Sunday with what looked to be a knee injury. An MRI on Monday confirmed the horrific reality.

Burrow had torn his ACL, MLC and suffered other structural damage. The LSU product showcased optimism through his official Twitter account but knows it’s going to be a long road ahead.
