With the Islanders having Matthew Schaefer is it time for the squad to trade for a future partner along side of the franchise defenseman?
The New York Islanders have a franchise defenseman in Matthew Schaefer. They also have quite a few prospect left handed defensemen in Isaiah George, Marshall Warren, and Jesse Pulkkinen. When you look at the right handed defenseman the cupboard is pretty empty. With Schaefer already showing he’s one of the best defensemen in the NHL should the Islanders add a proper partner next to him?
