Just after I put up the podcast article, talking about how we’d speculate about when Anthony Beauvillier would sign, he signs a two-year deal with the New York Islanders. Unbelievable timing as always for me and EOI!
Beauvillier is coming off a down year. Expectations were high for Beau due to his 2017-2018 stretch run. He finished with 36 points (21 goals, 15 assists) but his second-half pace was 59 points over a full season.
With expectations high, Beauvillier really flopped. He played in 80 games and had just 28 points (18 goals, 10 assists).
