Last night, the New York Islanders were carried by their second line. Anthony Beauvillier had two goals while both Brock Nelson and Josh Bailey finished with three assists on the night. The Islanders needed every bit of that help in their 5-3 win over Washington.
In Bailey's last 10 games he's been on fire. He has 11 points (3 goals, 8 assists) over that span and the Isles have desperately needed it.
Unfortunately for the Isles, the top-six has been very inconsistent this year outside of Brock Nelson. Before this recent 10 game stretch for Bailey, he was kind of a black hole offensively.
