Back in 2018, on the New York Giants last day of minicamp before breaking for a few weeks, offensive guard Will Hernandez and then Giants defensive tackle Damon Harrison got into a scuffle. This is not an unusual occurrence at training camp and it’s certainly not unheard of. Where this scuffle connects to Myles Garrett is when Harrison picked up Hernandez’s helmet that he had lost during a running play and swung it at him.
Harrison actually missed Hernandez in this situation but it could have been disastrous. After Harrison swung the helmet, Hernandez simply got a few punches in and then the fight was over.
