Texans expect Jadeveon Clowney to play, and that's bad news for Giants

After a back injury limited him all week in practice, the Houston Texans expect outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney to suit up against the Giants on Sunday afternoon.

"It looks like he should be able to go on Sunday," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said Friday, via the Houston Chronicle.

Clowney missed Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans due to back and elbow injuries, but is coming off his most productive season in 2017 when he finished with a career-high 9.5 sacks.

"We've talked about it all week," Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said Friday.
