You heard that right, former NY Giants head coach Ben McAdoo is back on the NFL radar after taking an interview with the Cleveland Browns on Friday. The role the 42-year-old coach was interviewing for in unclear at the moment, although the Browns still have a vacancy at offensive coordinator.
McAdoo has been out of the league since being fired by Big Blue in December of 2017 after his infamous decision to bench Eli Manning in favor of Geno Smith in the midst of a disaster of a season. The young coach had enjoyed a meteoric rise and seemed destined for coaching stardom after an 11-5 campaign in his first year as head coach in 2016 before the wheels fell off.
