And so another failed season drones on for the Giants, whose fleeting hopes of a playoff run again were dampened by their own incompetence in yet another loss that puts them even further behind in a futile quest for a second postseason bid in 10 seasons.
Not that there was much hope of toppling Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champion Bucs, who walked off the field at Raymond James Stadium with a 30-10 victory.
