New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara went into his Week 6 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars hobbled by an ankle injury, which he suffered sometime last week and caused him to miss the final Saints practice session. Kamara went through the team’s walkthrough on Saturday night and was encouraged by testing his ankle in pregame warmups, but he exited the game early and returned on a limited workload.
Afterwards, Saints coach Sean Payton was asked whether Kamara’s condition forced the team to change its approach on offense. That’s when Payton revealed that Kamara ended up managing two different injuries.
