The Saints made two moves on Tuesday toward filling up the remaining empty spots on the 90-man training camp roster. There were three spots open going into Tuesday. Former Carolina Panther defensive end Wes Horton was signed and safety and special teams ace Brynden Trawick was in for a visit.
First the signing, and it should be mentioned that neither of these players projects to be anything more than Special teams players at best and camp bodies at worst though they’ll have the opportunity to compete for backup slots.
Wes Horton came of Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California before attending Southern Cal as a defensive end.
