The last few days got a little confusing regarding the story of Teddy Bridgewater and what his future was as a quarterback in the NFL. In the end, it appears that he’ll be staying in New Orleans and backing up Drew Brees for at least the 2019 Season pending contract talks with the Saints.
On Tuesday, Mar. 12, the day before the opening of free agency, Bridgewater appeared to be all in with the Saints. There had been rumors that the Miami Dolphins had been courting him for their starting quarterback job but people from the Dolphins front office flatly denied they had been talking to him.
