Former LSU quarterback Danny Etling was waived by the New England Patriots yesterday, Aug 13, and is currently a free agent. Etling got his start at Purdue. We’ve already seen the ties between LSU coach Ed Orgeron and Sean Payton as well as Drew Brees’ ties to Purdue. Is it too predictable?
Add a little fire to this rumor by inserting the fact that Sean Payton and Bill Belichick are known to deal occasionally and that the Saints finally cast off number four quarterback J.T. Barrett last week. Perhaps based on insider information that Etling might be available soon?
