Not to say that it’s been overly dramatic, it hasn’t been. But the Saints quarterbacks group had a little more excitement to it this year than it has in the past. With Drew Brees being the starter, there hasn’t been much to talk about past that fact since 2006. There was just a little bit more to the story this year over years past. And we’re possibly still waiting for it to be fully written in ink on the first official depth chart of the 2019 Season.
Everybody knows that Drew Brees can’t play forever. It’s assumed that even he knows it.
