Michael Grabner found out he was traded to the Devils the same way many other people did.
Twitter.
To be exact, Grabner got a text from a friend on Thursday night, saying he saw on Twitter that the forward had been traded from the Rangers to the Devils.
A few minutes later, Rangers President Glen Sather confirmed the news, which sent the forward to the Devils for a second-round pick and prospect Yegor Rykov.
Grabner was a healthy scratch for Thursday's game in Montreal, with the Rangers prepping to trade him and winger Rick Nash.
