It’s inevitable now that the New Jersey Devils will be trading Taylor Hall, and it could happen at any moment. There are also a few other Devils players that could be moved before the NHL trade deadline.

NHL clubs that hoped for the best at the start of the season began to reevaluate their situation around U.S. Thanksgiving when it became clear that their chances of making the Stanley Cup Playoffs were somewhere between slim and none. Between now and the February 24th trade deadline, those teams will determine if they want to keep players that are unrestricted free agents.
