New Jersey Devils: Win In Carolina Makes It A Successful Weekend

The New Jersey Devils knew a win against a good Carolina Hurricanes team would go a long way after being defeated by the Philadelphia Flyers the night before. They did just that beating the Hurricanes 5-3. The Devils were able to grab the lead in the third period on a goal by P.K. Subban and actually hold on to win the game. It was a great game, and hopefully it is a sign of things to come.

One major change in the lineup was Wayne Simmonds going to play on the fourth line with Kevin Rooney and Miles Wood.
