The New Jersey Devils were defeated by the Minnesota Wild by a final score of 3-2. It was a tough pill to swallow, as Zach Parise scored in the Minnesota win in his former home arena. The Wild are near the bottom of the Western Conference, so it was a chance for the Devils to pile up some points. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to execute.
They did, however, have a milestone night for one of their players. Jesper Boqvist scored his first career NHL goal in the loss. It has been a long time coming for the young forward.
