DENVER -- Everyone knows about home-field advantage, but the New England Patriots have introduced their fans to a different twist since the start of the 2016 season.
Call it road-field advantage.
The Patriots have won 12 games in a row, which matches their streak from Dec. 24, 2006, through Oct. 5, 2008. That is the second longest in NFL history behind the 18-game streak the San Francisco 49ers had from 1988-1990.
In addition, Sunday night's victory over the Broncos was quarterback Tom Brady's record 86th road win of his career.
