One of the NFL’s most respected writers says that the New England Patriots' current offensive struggles are making him see Tom Brady’s departure in a new light.
Talking with The Ringer’s Kevin Clark, NBC Sports' Peter King had a bleak outlook for the Patriots' current situation with Bill Belichick at the helm and Cam Newton at quarterback.
King was asked if he thinks there’s any hope for the Patriots this season.
“No, I don’t think so,” the former Sports Illustrated columnist responded.
The question led King into thinking back to the aftermath of Brady’s final game with the Patriots.
