Following the re-signing of Cam Newton, it’s still very possible the New England Patriots add another starting-caliber quarterback.
It could be through the draft with the No. 15 overall pick or the Patriots could even trade to find their guy. Throughout this offseason, there’s been heavy speculation that the San Francisco 49ers and Patriots could come to agreement on a deal to send Jimmy Garoppolo back to Foxborough.
Garoppolo was in line to take over for Tom Brady and he’s proven to be a winner when healthy. But, the health issue is the primary concern and it’s why NBC Sports’ Peter King doesn’t believe the Patriots will make a move for him.
