The New England Patriots have placed Josh Gordon on injured reserve, a source told ESPN's Field Yates.
The receiver had been dealing with a knee injury.
Gordon last played Oct. 10, catching one ball for 7 yards in the team's win against the Giants. He finishes the season with 20 receptions for 287 yards and a touchdown.
The IR designation comes a day after New England acquired veteran wideout Mohamed Sanu from the Atlanta Falcons for a second-round draft pick.
