James White was not in attendance at the media viewable portion of the Patriots practice, Friday, increasing the likelihood that he’ll miss his second straight game when New England hosts the Las Vegas Raiders Sunday at 1 p.m. at Gillette Stadium.
Rookie Josh Uche was also absent.
White, 28, missed Sunday night’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks just hours after learning of a Florida car accident that killed his father Tyrone and put his mother, Lisa, in critical condition. There haven’t been new reports on Lisa White’s conditions since Tuesday when her injuries were still considered life-threatening.
