Patriots' David Andrews 'comfortable' with decision to play in 2020 NFL season

The New England Patriots were without their starting center during the 2019 season after David Andrews was hospitalized last August due to blood clots.

Andrews was medically cleared to return to football earlier this year, and after talking with doctors and his wife about playing amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the veteran offensive lineman has made the decision to play in the 2020 season. He explained his choice Sunday in a video conference call with reporters.
