There was a lot of optimism during the offseason about what Drake Maye could do during his second season with the New England Patriots, mostly because of how good he looked during his rookie year despite the unfavorable circumstances he walked into. That only increased once Mike Vrabel and Josh McDaniels were hired, and we've seen the fruits of that labor so far through the first 13 games.
Maye has gotten a lot of attention for his performance, as he's helped lead the team to an 11-2 record after their win over the Giants on Monday night, and he's squarely in the MVP conversation at just 23 years old.
