New England Patriots DB Jonathan Jones explains how to play defense without looking at QB

In a secondary with Defensive Player of the Year Stephon Gilmore, budding star JC Jackson and 10-year captain Devin McCourty, it’s easy for Jonathan Jones to get lost in the shuffle.

But no defender was more instrumental in giving the Patriots a chance on Sunday than the Swiss-Army back. He’s done that all season long. Playing both cornerback and safety, Jones was targeted in the end zone four times.

All four passes fell incomplete.

Down late in the fourth quarter, Jones reeled in a clutch interception to give the offense one last chance to come back against Denver.
