Linebacker Robert Spillane has agreed on a three-year, $37.5 million contract with the New England Patriots, a person familiar with the deal told The Associated Press on Monday.

The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because players can’t sign with new teams until Wednesday.

The 29-year-old Spillane started every game for the Las Vegas Raiders the past two seasons, averaging 153 tackles.

The Patriots also agreed on a deal with edge rusher Harold Landry on Sunday.
