Husker women add grad-transfer point guard from FIU

Amy Williams entered the summer with four returning starters, and a top-20 recruiting class in the fold.

The Nebraska women's basketball team bolstered its roster Friday with the addition of a graduate-transfer point guard.

Kristian Hudson will play her final season for the Huskers after starting the past three seasons at Florida International.

The 5-foot-5 Hudson averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists last season. She was at her best the final seven games of the season, averaging 18.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.7 steals in 37 minutes.

Hudson, who has 1,076 career points, joins a Husker team set to add a top-20 recruiting class, according to ESPN.
