For just the second time this season the Nebraska volleyball team loaded up in a bus on Tuesday for a road trip, and this is one ride the Huskers are glad they’re making, to the NCAA Final Four in Kansas City, Missouri.
The only other time the Huskers traveled to a city by bus was for a tournament in Omaha in September. All the other road trips were far enough away that the Huskers traveled by commercial or charter airplane.
The team headed out on the three-hour drive at about 6 p.m. Tuesday, following an afternoon practice at the Devaney Sports Center.
